Discover the heart of historic Istanbul with a full day guided tour of Istanbul, then 2 days in Cappadocia and 1 day in Ephesus

Day 1 - Arrival in Istanbul
Upon your arrival we will pick you up from the airport and transfer your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore this magical city.

Day 2 - Istanbul (breakfast, lunch)
We pick you up from your hotel and take you on a full day guided tour of the historical heart of Istanbul.
The tour will include visit to the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace and the Rustem Pasa Mosque. At the end of the tour, we will transfer you to the airport to take an evening flight to Cappadocia. Overnight in a comfortable cave hotel in Cappadocia.

Day 1 - Cappadocia (breakfast, lunch)
We start our full day tour of Cappadocia with a visit to Goreme panorama point which has a stunning view of Goreme Village and drive down into the Goreme Open Air Museum a unique collection of churches and chapels boasting the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia. Then we visit Ortahisar, a typical village with its rocky outcrop fortress and citrus caves and drive to Pasabag, (Monks Valley) which has mushroom like formed rocks and very interesting fairy chimney forms. We pass through the Imagination valley, Devrent, where you see all sorts of animal shapes in the rocks. Midday, lunch break in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, walking along the Red River at Avanos which is the longest river of Turkey and visiting the famous pottery workshops. Here, you will have a chance to see how the pottery is made and if you like you may also have a go. At the end of the day, we return to your hotel passing through Love Valley which has incredible view. Arrival to hotel, free time and overnight in Cappadocia cave hotel.

Day 2 - Cappadocia (breakfast, lunch)
Pick up from hotel around 09:30 by your driver and guide and join your second Cappadocia Tour. Today we visit Uchisar Castle which is huge rocky outcrop dating from Roman times and used as a fortress by many civilizations. We hike about 4 km in Red Valley and Rose Valley admiring along the way the little churches hidden in the valley where early Christians practiced their faith in secret. At the end of our hike we arrive at Cavusin village which has some interesting cave dwellings and old Greek houses. The Church of St.John the Baptist offers a panoramic view of the village. This church and its paintings date back to the 5th century, making the oldest church in the region. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, your guide will take you down Kaymaklı Underground City used by Christian populations fleeing persecution and marauders. Whole populations descended underground and hid for months with their livestock and food stores. Pigeon Valley where you see how the pigeon houses have been carved out of the rock. Our last visit is to the Three Beauties of Ürgüp, the symbol of Cappadocia. At the end of the tour, transfer to airport to take a flight to Izmir. (Some days direct some days via Istanbul flight) After your arrival to airport, you will be met with a sign with your name. Transfer to your hotel in Kusadasi / Selcuk.

Day 3 - Ephesus (breakfast, lunch)
After breakfast at the hotel, pick up by the tour guide around 09:00 and starting to Ephesus Tour. Visits to Artemis Temple which used to be one of the 7 wonders of ancient world, Ephesus Ancient City, Hadrian Temple, Celsius Library, Theatre,baths and the old harbour. We have lunch in a local restaurant. Our last stop of the tour is to the House of Virgin Mary where Mary supposedly spent her last years, this is a holy place for Muslims and Christians alike. At the end of the tour, transfer to the airport to take a flight to Istanbul or on to other places to enjoy the rest of your vacation.
